Sister sensations Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were photographed happily posing at the launch of their line Textile Elizabeth and James, held at Tacombi in NYC on February 2. Before I get to the breakdown of MK & A's ensembles, I also wanted to mention that Elizabeth Olsen (the twins' sister and the Elizabeth in Elizabeth and James) attended the celebration as well, fresh off her much-buzzed-about visit to the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Aw, sisterly support! Love that. Starting with Mary-Kate, she paired an alligator vest from The Row's Resort collection (get a similar look in a cozy leather jacket, like Muu Baa's Soma Jacket in Black) with a pair of rust colored trousers from the Textile Elizabeth and James collection and a pair of pointed toe cutout heels. If you're liking the unexpected hue of MK's pants, check out Joe's Jeans' 29" Jegging in Poison. Ashley, on the other hand, started her look with a sweater with an interesting fox print - which Nylon dubs as Ashley possibly "making a subversive twist on the criticism she usually gets for wearing fur" - and a pair of cuffed pants that are also from the Textile Elizabeth and James collection (duh). For a pair that are similar, try Da-Nang's Skinny Gather Cargo Pant in Aloe. From there, Ashley added on a bevvy of bangles (get a pop of color with Assad Mounser's Nomad Bracelet in Pink) and a killer pair of ice blue Balenciaga heels. Nylon went so far as to call Ashley's ensemble their "Best Dressed of the Week," saying: "We're usually Team MK when the twins get together, but last night at Elizabeth & James' party for their new denim collection, our vote went for Ashley all the way." Regarding the collection, Ashley said: "With the addition of Textile Elizabeth and James, the label offers a well-rounded collection of casual to dressy options for the trend conscious customer."
