Turning up the heat (not to mention the tanning bulbs!) Christina Aguilera is one voluptuous vixen at a private event called "The Unmasking" held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on September 25. Christina arrived at the event in full diva form to sing four of her biggest hits in celebration of the opening of the new Lynda and Stewart Resnick Exhibition Pavilion. Christina came dripping in decadence in a champagne Atelier Versace gown with silver accents (get the lavish look in Sue Wong's Beaded Flapper Maxi in Ivory or the Grecian Goddess Open Back Dress in Ivory/Gold), adding a flashy Stephen Webster bracelet and rings (love the ornate design of Amrita Singh's Ayau Cuff in Silver) and a shiny Christian Dior clutch to complete the look (I love the gold accents on Inge Christopher's Armadillo Trapezoid Clutch in Gold). What do you think of Christina's over the top ensemble, does it work for her? I don't know how she hasn't passed out from the fumes of all that hairspray, but I do have to say if anyone can pull off the diva look it's Christina. Just lay off the bronzer next time, orange isn't a good look for anyone! Christina's tan might be partly natural, as she just returned from a girl's getaway in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico last weekend. Christina headed south to celebrate fellow mama Nicole Richie's bachelorette party, complete with plenty of margaritas and splish splashing in the pool. No word on when Nic's wedding will actually take place, but you can bet Christina will be there to see her finally walk down the aisle!
