TAYLOR'S SNL HOSTING GIG

The precious Taylor Swift was caught by photographers (although her bodyguards did their best to shield the starlet from them) heading into Oceana in NYC on November 7 for a late-night after party celebrating her SNL performance earlier in the evening. For her night out attire, Tay chose a simple black trench coat (like Suzabelle's Nicolet Trench Coat in Black, or for a bit of a contrast, check out Suzabelle's Greenstreet Wool Coat in Black/Cream) with peeptoe zip-up black booties, a cherry red manicure, and a sparkly clutch (take your pick of either Moyna Handbags' Sequin Clutch in Gold/Pewter or the Beaded Clutch in Gold/Bronze). While this is essentially one of the simplest outfits T could have chosen, there's no denying that she looks chic and sophisticated. Now, on to her SNL performance - did any of you catch it? There were definitely a few memorable moments, such as her "Twilight" spoof and her opening monologue. During her monologue, she got into such topics such as her romantic life, saying (actually, singing): "You might think I’d bring up Joe (Jonas), that guy who broke up with me on the phone, but I’m not gonna mention him in my monologue. Hey Joe, I’m doing real well. Tonight, I’m hosting SNL but I’m not gonna brag about that in my monologue. La la la. Ha ha ha. La la la. And if you’re wondering if I might be dating the werewolf from Twilight. Hey Taylor (Lautner)! But I’m not gonna comment on that in my monologue." Way to stay vague, TS! She also brings up the whole Kanye incident, singing: "You might be expecting me to say something bad about Kanye (West) and how he ran up on stage and ruined my VMA monologue. But there’s nothing more to say cuz everything’s okay. I’ve got security lining the stage." I want to hear reader feedback on Taylor's job on SNL, how do you think she did?
