TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS

For the second night in a row, Eva Longoria dined at her Hollywood eatery Beso on Nov 19, although this time her visit was strictly business after the previous night’s festivities. Looking super perky in a plaid belted jacket (emulate the look with Suzabelle’s Marin Trench Coat in Tweed with the matching self belt or try Rough Roses’ Contour Belt with Stitching in Black) and dark bootcuts (like Hudson’s Signature Bootcut Jean in Gemini), brown heels and studded leather tote (try Linea Pelle’s Dylan Crocodile Double Zippy in Emerald Green), Eva was smiling from ear to ear as she made her way to her car. I’m a fan of her gold leaf earrings (just like Lisa K’s Tea Leaf Earrings in Gold) but I’m not loving the cropped hair right now – it could use a little pick-me-up, no? Eva has been under some pretty intense scrutiny over the past few months for her so called weight gain, and recently revealed her secret. Eva gave up meat after the summer and was able to drop the measly 5 lbs she gained with no problems. She said of her new meat-free diet, “I love it… It really has affected my body… It takes a lot for the body to process red meat and I’ve never been a fan of chickens.” I completely agree with her, but Beso’s signature paella just won’t be the same without the tasty chorizo! Guess we all have to make sacrifices… have any of you gone meatless lately?
