TABLE FOR ONE

Showing her mature side, Katie Holmes heads out solo for lunch at E. Baldi in Beverly Hills on March 11. Katie arrived dressed a tad younger than usual, pairing a flirty printed Isabel Marant dress (opt for Soul Revival's Jaden Print Dress in Chocolate Print or PGD Style's Satin Floral Mini Dress in Black/Red) with knee high cognac boots (love Martha Davis' Superhero Tall Boot in Brown), a cozy cable cardi (like CO2 Cashmere's Open-Knit Long Cardigan in Beige) and a charcoal knit scarf. Kate carried a buttery tan tote (Antoinette Lee's Stella Bag in Tan has long been one of my favs) and topped her look with gold aviators and a messy pulled back 'do. Not bad for a young mom out to get a little shopping done! Earlier this week Katie was spotted picking Suri up from ballet class and stopping by H&M for a quick shopping spree. Store employees told the paps they left with a big bag of loot but didn't try anything on – probably because it's more fun to play dress up in the privacy of their own home! Tom recently chatted about his precocious little girl to the press, "Suri's very much like her mother. She will not wear trousers, only dresses… The other day, Kate showed her some gold-colored sneakers thinking she might like to wear them, and she looked at them and said, "Oh mommy, these are lovely, but they're boy shoes." She's sweet, but she's very strong-willed -- just like her mother." Love the added emphasis at the end – apparently even Tom is sick of the rumors that Katie is his silent puppet! With solo outings like the one above, are you convinced TomKat might actually be living a "normal" married life together?
