SWEET SPOT FOR SPLENDID

Enjoying the spring sunshine, Jessica Alba gets cardi crazy in LA while running errands over the past month. On March 19 Jess took Honor to Trader Joe's to stock up on groceries for the weekend, layering up in a white slub tunic (like LA Made's Seamed Scoop Tee in White), inky cuffed jeans (try Serfontaine's Minx Straight Leg in Twilite, designed to be worn cuffed with flats or full length with heels) and the cozy café colored Overdye Heather Cardi in Mud from Splendid, which you can snag in the same color or in Heather Grey on CoutureCandy. If you've ever tried on one of Splendid's super comfy cardis you'll know why celebs like Jessica love them – you just can't beat layering up in laidback luxury! Jess accessorized with a chunky chain necklace (Circadian Studio's Big O Mixed Chain Necklace in Gold has a similar vibe) and tan gladiator flats (like Gwyneth Shoes' Kenzie in Tan). A few weeks later on April 15, Jessica ventured out solo for coffee with a gal pal in Brentwood, leaving Honor with the nanny while running a few errands. Wearing the J Brand cargo skinnies everyone is going mad for, this time Jess paired her cardi with a tonal striped tank and a mixed chain necklace (love CC Skye's Devin Necklace in Gold), adding a spiky gold bracelet (just like CC Skye's Spike Love Bracelet in Gold) that definitely isn't child-proof! As a final touch Jess teetered on tan wooden platforms (similar to Andrea & Joen's Sierra in Camel), braiding the front of her hair back into a casual ponytail. What do you think of Jessica's casual chic attire, would you emulate her look? She looks like she's in a good mood in both of these shots, but Jessica recently mused on why it's not always peachy having a bunch of photogs following your every move. She explained, “It is what it is. But if I don’t leave the house, I don’t go anywhere and there’s no point in doing that. I’m a person! I think if you complain about it you seem like an asshole. More of an asshole than if you just go with it. It’s not like you ever get used to it — it’s like having sex with the camera in front of you — it’s just awkward!” Uhhh, is that a little TMI about what goes on with Cash in the bedroom? We'll have to wait and see!
