Back in New York City after a whirlwind trip to Paris, Blake Lively was spotted enduring the summer rain while filming a scene for "Gossip Girl" on July 14. But just because the rain was coming down didn't mean that Blake's style would be forced to take a rain check! The "GG" wardrobe team chose a brightly patterned mini skirt (similar to Free People's Multi Color Skirt) along with a tucked-in tank (try Rails' Carly Tank in Sea Foam) and a lightweight vest (Quicksilver's Generator Vest in After Hours has a similar silhouette). Of course, the accessories in Blake's look seemed to steal the spotlight - how cool is her studded lucite cuff and oversized gold ring on her left hand? Love. To finish off her ensemble, Blake toted a nude handbag (check out Rough Roses' Jewel Shoulder Bag with Braided Strap in Cream) and slipped into a pair of braided heels. As always, the "Gossip Girl" team gets it right - are you a fan of this look for B? As much as Blake is known for her role as Serena on the hit show, she is definitely testing out her acting chops by taking roles in other projects, such as the highly anticipated "Green Lantern." The first photo of Blake (in her brown wig) with star Ryan Reynolds recently was published in Entertainment Weekly, and Blake spoke to the mag about her new part. She says, "So often in a superhero movie, the woman is the prize or the damsel in distress. But [my character] Carol is so strong: She's the boss of the company Hal works at, she's a fighter pilot herself, she saves Hal a few times. That push and pull creates an interesting tension." Very interesting, indeed! Can't wait to see Blake in this new role, what about you?
