STYLE DEJA VU?

Kate Winslet was definitely the lady in red as she posed for photos at the Parisian premiere of her film Carnage, which was held at the Cinema Gaumont Marignan on November 20. Co-star John C. Reilly joined Kate on the red carpet, and I have to ask you... are you having a case of style deja vu? Kate wore this red figure hugging Stella McCartney dress, but is it just a bit too similar to the dress (also by Stella McCartney) that she wore to the Venice Film Festival back in September? There's no question that it's basically the same dress in a different color, but then again, there's also no denying that Kate is rocking it! The side panels definitely accentuate Kate's curvy physique, however do you wish she had changed it up just a bit more? If you're looking for a red dress similar to the one Kate is wearing here, check out Lotta Stensson's Shirred V Neck Dress in Red. Kimberly Taylor's Ava Dress in Red and Stretta Apparel's Jessica Dress in Dark Red are also great options. In addition to Kate's repeat frock, she styled her look with simple drop earrings, a silver bangle (try Elizabeth & James' Two Tone Scallop Bangle in Sterling Silver), and black strappy heels. I'd love to hear your thoughts, everyone!

I love Kate but this dress does nothing for her....she looks very stiff and uncomfortable.guest on Nov 28 2011 @ 06:34 AM
