Kristen Bell arrives in style at the grand opening of the new Louis Vuitton store in Santa Monica, CA on August 19. Rather than play it safe, KB picked two playful prints off the LV Pre-Fall 2010 runway and wore a printed button down tucked into a pleated skirt (get ready for fall in fun printed dresses in autumn shades like Jenny Han's Strapless Wool Dress in Circle Print or Amberlynn's Pollieanne Dress in Khaki). Kristen played up the black waistband with black cut-out wedges (check out Farylrobin's Issie Wedge in Black with a fun side accent) and complemented the deep orange, olive and plum tones with a bronze textured LV clutch (similar to Inge Christopher's Paradiso Clutch in Pewter). Naturally Kristen's retail endeavor wasn't without good cause – the opening event benefitted the Heal The Bay foundation. What do you think of Kristen's blend of charity and style, does it work for her? I don't think mixed prints this bright can work for everyone, but it certainly brings a fun burst of color to the table at an event like this. She's definitely got the figure to pull it off! After turning 30 this summer, KB is showing off her bikini bod on the cover of Shape, and sharing with readers how she stays fit: "I'm not going to try to be a certain size, or weigh a specific amount. I don't own a scale. My goal is to feel good and look healthy… My friends and I are all into staying in shape through outdoor activities. We play Ultimate Frisbee, hike the trails around Los Angeles, go rock climbing in Malibu, explore underwater caves in Palos Verdes. We're gluttons for excitement, and it keeps us fit!"
