SPLENDID SWEET TOOTH

The lovely Emily Blunt satisfies both her sweet tooth and a craving for comfy clothes with a girls shopping trip to the Splendid boutique in Beverly Hills on March 1. Em was spotted laughing with a gal pal as she left the new Robertson flagship store with plenty of loot - browse CoutureCandy's Splendid offerings and pick up a few sweet selections for yourself! For her shopping day Emily started with a comfy chambray button down (try Ella Moss' Charles Stripe Long Sleeve in Black or James Perse's Contrast Button Up in Calistoga) over stony blue skinnies (just like James Jeans' Twiggy in Slate) and black studded sandals (check out the similar design of Andrea & Joen's Savannah in Chocolate). Em carried a black leather tote (like Rough Roses' Francesca Tote with Double Handle in Black) along with her shopping bags, picking up a giant bag of Skittles from a kid selling candy on the street – what a sweetheart! What do you think of Emily's laidback look? She may have a super busy schedule, but from this outing you can see Em is all about making time for her girlfriends – even those she competes against in Hollywood. She was recently asked about some gossip alleging a rivalry between close pal Amy Adams, who she starred in the flick Sunshine Cleaning. Em explained to OK! Magazine: "I completely understand when one of them (other actresses) gets a role over me, or vice versa. Amy Adams and I are really good friends, and I think her manager said to her one day, 'You have to stop going into your meetings promoting Emily Blunt!' She was like, 'I know, but I think Emily would be better for (this part)!' So I don't really have much rivalry, or if there is any, I don't really know anything about it. Because, you know, I'm not around girls like that. The friends I have in the business, I'm always really happy for them. I think we're always happy for each other. That sounds crap, but it's true." Awww!
