Angelina Jolie wore her favorite color on the red carpet for a screening of the new film that she directed, In the Land of Blood and Honey, that was hosted by Marie Claire and held at the Hearst Tower in NYC on December 6. For her big night, Angie wore a L’Agence velvet tuxedo (get the look by pairing Tibi's Velveteen Blazer in Black with their Velveteen Legging in Black) and silk camisole (try Ani Apparel's Pocket Tank in Black), and then accessorized with David Yurman earrings and bracelets. The actress has recently received flack for her super skinny frame (what else is new), however, there is a reason for it. According to Us Weekly, "the U.N. Goodwill ambassador puts herself on fasts to make statements for the children she visits. She says, ‘If they can’t eat, I can’t eat.' She does different cleanses from around the world. It’s very dramatic, but that’s how she gets." I'm all for supporting the causes you feel passionately about, but it sounds like what Angie is doing is quite dangerous for her body. Thoughts?
