SOPHIA'S PUPPY LOVE

Looking like a kid in a candy store (or a pet store?), Sophia Bush looks absolutely adorable getting in on the fun at a Petco Adoption Day in Los Angeles on May 30. Who could resist a chance to play with tons of cuddly puppies? Clearly not One Tree Hill star Sophia, who even brought a friend to adopt a puppy at the event! Sophia went for the hippie chic look while playing with the pups, pairing a cropped peasant blouse (try Cake Couture’s Cut Work Roll Up Sleeve Blouse in Ivory) and belted boyfriend jeans (try Denim of Virtue’s Boyfriend Loose Fit Jean in Distressed anchored with Rough Roses’ basic Leather Strap Belt in Brown) with casual flipflops (Matiko’s Katia Sandal in White are one of my personal favs). I thought the tummy baring look was dead but apparently Sophia is bringing it back and looking adorable while doing it! I also love her super long leather tote (try Carla Mancini’s Hobo with Front Lock in Tan) and the black nail polish adds a nice edgy touch. She just looks so happy and so cute it’s hard not to love her! Is it just me? Later in the week, Sophia had more to smile about: she attend Game 1 of the 2009 NBA Finals at the Staples Center in LA, cheering on the Lakers to victory against the Orlando Magic with a very cute male companion seated courtside next to her! Sophia and her mystery man were also seated next to Entourage star Kevin Connelly and Spiderman himself, Tobey Maguire, chatting it up while enjoying front row view of the action. Other celebs in attendance: Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Nicholson, Lauren Conrad, and Kanye West, to name a few! Are any of you lovers of both fashion and basketball?
