Skipping out on the AMA's in Los Angeles, Beyoncé Knowles chose to stay put in NYC and host her own musical evening at the School of Visual Arts on November 21. Bey held a special screening of her new concert film Beyoncé: I Am – World Tour Live, which gives fans a glimpse of parts from the tour and some special backstage moments. Beyoncé walked down the red carpet at her event in an uber short Naeem Khan beaded dress (try Sue Wong's Eggplant Strapless Feather Mini Dress in Eggplant or the Beaded Bodice Satin Sheath Dress in Black to suit your holiday needs) paired with gorgeous buckled Christian Louboutin heels (like KORS Michael Kors' Bixby Strappy Heel in Cork), dazzling dangling earrings (like Amy DiGregorio's Chestnut Hill Earrings in Gold) and a stunning circle motif cuff bracelet (try Love Heals' unique Peacock Pearl Bracelet in Silver). I like that the dress has some volume at the top, being so short it might look too risqué if it was showing off any more of her gorgeous curves. In other Knowles news, while it's now becoming clear that the recent "official" reports that Jay-Z and Beyoncé are expecting were definitely false, Bey's mama Tina Knowles is spreading the word that she is ready for another grandbaby. She chatted with People this week: "Of course I am [ready for her to have a baby]… What grandmother isn't? I can't wait. They're good people and they're really positive and they're talented and they've had a lot of practice with my grandson – their nephew. So I know they're going to make great parents." However, she did have some criticism to share: "Cooking is the one thing [Beyoncé] hasn't gotten into. She hasn't mastered [it], but I'm sure she'll be a good cook once she makes up her mind."
