After the NY premiere of The Changeling, Angelina Jolie and the kids headed south to New Orleans on Oct 6 to check out the housing project Brad Pitt is backing. Angie looked quite the trendy mama as she took a stroll with her brood, stopping to pick up some wholesome Cheetos snacks at a corner store. Wearing a tiered black maxi dress with a full skirt (brighten up your fall look with the similar style of Woo’s Jasmine Dress in Grass Green), Angie looked both comfy and chic in black ballet flats, oversized black sunnies (check out JeeVice’s Egoist in Black) and her long dark locks framing her face, opting to add only a smattering of gold bangles (try Rachel Leigh’s adorable Audrey Bow Bangle Set in Gold). She looks casual yet put together, and you’d hardly know this woman dresses not only herself, but 6 kiddies every morning! After the Louisiana rendezvous, the Jolie-Pitt clan jetted back to France for a week before Angie returned to NY for her appearance on The Today Show on Thursday. Angie had some face time with the press last week, and while we all suspected it in the past, she managed to let it slip in an interview with The New York Times that she and Brad Pitt got together while filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith back in 2004 – when Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston. She told the newspaper, “Not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love.” Way to go, Angie – spilling the beans for all of us to eat up! She later tried to claim she was fatigued from jet-lag and that her words were minced as a result… not buying it. What I don’t understand is why she and Brad didn’t take the honest route from the beginning – and teach all those children of theirs the importance of telling the truth!
