Sharing some sisterly love, Jessica Simpson celebrated baby sis Ashlee's 25th birthday at MGM's Wet Republic pool party in Las Vegas on October 3. Both sported pool-and-parent appropriate attire, as Papa Joe and Tina Simpson were in attendance, along with Ashlee's husband Pete Wentz. Birthday girl went for a more fun look, wearing a black jumper (like Generra's Shift Jumper Dress in Black) over a strappy black swimsuit (opt for OYE Swimwear's Butterfly Effect Monokini in Black), topped off with a black rimmed fedora. Very cute that she wore leopard wedges from the Jessica Simpson Collection, but the set of a thousand bangles is a little much – it looks like a Slinky on her arm! Keep it simple with Accessories & Beyond's Braided Magnetic Cuff Bracelet in Bronze, which I have to add are also noise-free, unlike the set Ash picked. Going for a more resort look, Jess picked a high waist black bikini (try Marysia's more playful Wide Band Bikini in Black/Aqua/Buff) topped with a printed sarong kaftan (make it work for pool or day with Graham & Spencer's V Neck Tunic in Black), black strappy wedges and fade tinted sunglasses. What do you think of the Simpson sister's poolside fashion? I have to say I can't remember the last time they both looked so polished and happy to be together – too cute to see them having fun! Besides hanging out in their private cabana, Ash had a rockin' bday complete with a triple tiered, cupcake topped cake before requesting "Single Ladies" and jumping into the crowd to dance. To add to the celebration, earlier in the week the entire Simpson family was honored with the Operation Smile Founders Circle Award for their work with the organization. Jess has been a Celebrity Ambassador for Operation Smile since 2003, and went on a medical mission trip to Kenya with Papa Joe in 2005. Kudos to the family for staying involved with such a worthy cause!
