Showing off her sexy gams, Katy Perry struts around Hollywood with a shopping bag full of loot on April 21. KP shopped with a friend while prepping for the 2010 ASCAP Pop Music Awards, held that evening at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel. While most of us would opt for flats when venturing out on a major shopping spree, Katy trotted around in sky high studded leather platforms ((try Gwyneth Shoes' foxy Tanya in Black) with her uber short H&M Fashion Against AIDS acid washed denim mini dress (get the showstopping look with similar picks like Fighting Eel's Roo Tunic Dress in Heather or Barlow's Oxford Moto Dress in Blue). Katy isn't one to spare accessories, and she added her fav Chanel quilted bag to this look (love Danielle Nicole's Kristi Messenger in Black as an alternate chain strap option) and a silver cuff bracelet to complete the look (love the cut-out detail on Amrita Singh's Tilla Bangle in Silver). Besides the fact that this look belongs more in a nightclub than on the streets (well, then again, it is Hollywood), I do think Katy looks really hot here, with one exception: what is going on with her hair?! I'll give her credit it was a semi-windy day in LA but that doesn't mean you can leave your hairbrush at home! What are you readers thinking about this 'fit, is it too much for a daytime look? Later than night Katy rocked some to-die-for Jimmy Choo "Zappa" light-up heels at the awards show, reminding us all of the sneakers of our childhood with a simple Tweet: "My shoes light up 2night :) I feel like a kid again w/ them LA gears!! But this time it's Jimmy Choo. Wonder if JC will make skating 1's nxt?" I have to admit I'm wondering that myself – so fierce!
