Getting her shopping fix, Beyonce Knowles did some major retail damage at the Harvey Nichols department store in London on May 26. Joined by her husband Jay-Z, B left the store staying true to her signature style in acid washed skinny jeans (get the bold look with Rich & Skinny’s Colorful Sleek Jeans in a fun shade like Neon Orange or Neon Yellow) and an overdyed tank (go with a cool graphic like Raw 7’s Peace and Rock Cotton Tank in Ivory), adding some color with red Wayfarers and shiny red peeptoes. Completing the ‘fit with a gold chain necklace (I’m sensing python loving B would approve of Jessica Elliot’s Vermeil Ruby-Eyed Snake Charm Necklace in Gold) and a caramel tote slung over one shoulder (check out the unique rusty shade of Carla Mancini’s Braided Handle with Front Tab in Tan Crocodile), Beyonce wore her hair curly and had her Blackberry in hand as she left the store all smiles. What do you think of the crazy dyed tank and jeans combo? I’m loving the red accents but I wish Beyonce would wear non-skinny jeans once in awhile. Let’s face it: they’re not the most flattering on her bootylicious figure! Though B looks happy here, she reportedly had a security scare at the after-party for her London concert on Monday night. Beyonce brought her sis Solange on stage for a few songs, and after realizing Jay-Z was in attendance a fan tried his hand at fame by sneaking backstage to attempt to pass off a demo tape to Jay-Z. A witness told the London Paper: “A man barged through the backstage door just as Beyonce was walking past. He cried out her name with his arms outstretched before security bundled him back out again. He said he wanted to see Jay-Z to give him a demo tape.” At least he didn’t try to hurt B! Britney Spears also recently experienced a security breach on her Circus tour – what’s up with all the crazy fans these days?
