Jessica Alba is obviously unbelievably sexy, and by unbelievably I mean she doesn't believe it! Spending the day shopping in Beverly Hills at Harmony Lane on June 2 (and dining at Mr. Chow the night before), Jess looked cute and basic as always in a black bubble dress (Karen Zambos' Cross Bubble Dress is super similar) with black leggings and metallic gladiator sandals. Despite the fact that it is basically a well-understood belief in Hollywood that Jess is one of the cutest around, she still has her insecurities, just like any other girl. Jessica has said how she doesn't think she's sexy, and doesn't understand why she's treated like a sex-symbol. She says that she doesn't "really pay attention to all that. It's only when people start to treat me like one that it really freaks me out. Most days, I wake up and look in the mirror and go, 'Ugh.' I don't really think I look all that great." Wake up, Alba! It's a good thing that her blonde phase was strictly movie-related (Jess went blonde for the sequel to Fantasic Four), because she would definitely be getting more attention for her looks than she already does! Jess goes on to say that "People pay attention to blondes far more than they do to brunettes. I definitely got checked out three times for every once I do with my regular hair color." Seems like Jess is one leading lady who is quite content to not be the center of every spotlight (hear that, Posh?).

Im half naked in all my movies and photos but people keep treating me like a sex symbol I don't understand! Oh come on, what do you mean by half-naked? Bikini? Everybody wears that! Its not like she does XXX scenes! She dont understand why people think of her as sex symbol becoz she dont go around strutting herself like pam anderson or christina aguilera for example. She dresses like a normal girl, not hooker-like. She x wear thick hooker makeup or do nip-slip or whatever. So its understandable-why would ppl think shes a sex symbol?? Beautiful maybe. Pretty, alright. But SEX SYMBOL??
And anyway it just goes to show that she is humble, which is rare trait these days
