Taking a charming NYC stroll with her man, Anne Hathaway was spotted shopping and lunching in the East Village with Adam Shulman on July 3. Anne appears to be completely enthralled with whatever her man is saying – so much so that maybe she forgot to look in the mirror before heading out for the day? To start, your beau's jeans should never be tighter than yours (it's hard to see the electric blue skinny leg, but enough said). The faded straight legs Anne chose pull at the crotch in an unflattering way – they just aren't doing anything for her figure (opt for Pierce Jeans' Pierson Slim Jean in Pacific). Next Anne put on a teal button up blouse with a ruffled yoke and old fashioned puff sleeves (if you like the button up style try 3J Workshop's Dixie Shirt in As Shown or Shumaq's Alex Center Button Blouse in White), adding clear jellies, an off-white tote (like Carla Mancini's Braided Handle Tote in Off White Crocodile), and a cute straw hat. From the waist up, it's not so bad, but the jeans and jellies aren't working for me. Do any of you agree? Looks like Anne is having a great summer, spending time with her beau in the Big Apple while taking a break from her Shakespeare in the Park performance schedule. Have any of you had a chance to see her on stage in Central Park? Her performance has gotten great reviews, like this from NY Daily News: "At ease on the stage and with iambic pentameter, the Oscar nominee for "Rachel Getting Married" brings sweet charm and deep poignancy in her acting and (too briefly) singing." I've heard tickets are hard to come by – you may have to wait in line for days, literally – but you can register for the "Virtual Line" and win free tickets on the Public Theatre website. Twelfth Night ends its park run on July 12, so don't delay!
