Stepping out in yet another sizzling mini, Hayden Panettiere paid no attention to the frigid temps and attended the Washington, DC “Declare Yourself” celebration gala on January 18. HP must have forgotten how lucky she is to be living in LA when she packed this little number and headed cross-country! Even though her look is repetitive, I can’t help but love the intricate sequined pattern of this sassy little mini (emulate the flashy look for yourself with Smitten’s Capsleeve Sequins Dress in Black or LaROK’s Serengeti Tunic in Black Zebra), and the scoop back is very sexy on her petite little body! A pose looking over her shoulder would’ve done this mini justice – where’s her stylist giving her directions when she needs them? Wearing her tried-and-true YSL pumps (yawn – although I do love them!), Hayden carried a slender metallic clutch (take it to the next level with Antoinette Lee’s seductive Lua Snake Clutch in Gold) and had classic diamond studs gleaming from her ears. Love the hair too – the subtle volume at the back and loose layers around her face are perfect for this event. Overall, this is a very simple look but I’m still wowed by the dazzling dress – thoughts? At the event, Hayden posed with Jessica Alba and dished some of her personal views to the press, including a few tidbits of advice for the Obama girls, Sasha and Malia. Speaking from seemingly personal experience, HP said, "It takes a lot to keep their head on their shoulders, but I think they come from a good family and I think when you surround yourself with good people it tends to keep you on the ground." Is Hayden shedding light on the reason she hasn’t fallen victim to the temptations of Hollywood, since she's pretty much grown up in the spotlight after making her first sitcom appearance on "Aliens in the Family" in 1996 at the tender age of 9? Maybe it’s her 31 yr old boyfriend, Milo Ventimiglia, who has been keeping her out of trouble since they started dating seriously about a year ago. Whatever the reason, keep surrounding yourself with good people, HP!
