Always one to support a good cause, AnnaLynne McCord attended Self Magazine's "Women Doing Good Awards" that were held at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC on September 21. The event was organized to honor outstanding women who have given back to their communities. Great cause! For her evening ensemble, AM chose a slinky metallic Lipsy London number (try either Luc by Lucy's Kimono Style Kelly Dress in Gold or Black Halo's Stella Mini Dress in Asphalt for something similar) that she paired with mesh peeptoe pumps and a bevy of bangles (like Alex and Ani's Art Nouveau Limited Edition Bangle Set in Multi and Calico Juno Designs' Multi Colored Stone Studded Bracelet in Pink/Orange). She finished things off with dramatic makeup, a red manicure and a knotted top bun that Sarah Jessica Parker and Lauren Conrad would definitely approve of. What are your thoughts about AnnaLynne's style here - are you into it? In some pretty funny AnnaLynne news, reports claim that her dad wanted her to be a nun. Say what? AnnaLynne says, "I wasn’t allowed to look at boys. My dad wanted me to be a nun. He thought the whole thing where I didn’t get married sounded good. He didn’t know the whole concept." How funny! AnnaLynne went on to divulge details about her first kiss, which proved to be quite awkward. She says, "The first time I made out was after I moved out of my house and I was living in Miami. There was no music. I was just like ‘hey, would you want to make out with me?’ and he’s like ‘yeah.’ I was like ‘cool.’" Ha!
