Jessica Alba heads to London with hubby Cash Warren on December 3 just in time to attend the Miu Miu store launch party at Lancaster House. On an extremely chilly night Jess arrived at the event with a wool Prada coat (try Suzabelle's Nicolet Trench Coat in Classic Taupe) over her Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2011 colorblock dress with a caramel sequined bodice and bright chartreuse skirt (make these bold hues work for you with Boulee's Natalie Pleated V Back Dress in Lime or Chaudry's Sequin Dress in Gold) with tan patent heels (like KORS Michael Kors' Julian Patent Pump in Sand). Jess carried a sandy clutch (try Lodis' Cayman Siren Clutch in Dove) and wore contrasting burgundy nail polish to complete the look. I'm not a fan of the limp layers framing her face, what are your thoughts? On her way to the event Jessica tweeted about how cold it was out, but when she stepped out with no stockings and open-toed heels the paparazzi asked her what her secret is to staying warm, "Hand warmers," she said, showing off small teabag sized pouches in her pockets, "I always have them with me – in my shoes too. You can even get slimline ones that you can wear with peeptoes." Clever!

Alba is known as the fashion "mix master" because of the way she puts pieces together, but I don't like this either. As for being cold, why not dress appropriately for the weather, in tights and closed-toe shoes, and, ummm, sleeves.guest on Dec 13 2010 @ 03:13 AM
