Samaire Armstrong

Samaire Armstrong has gained serious attention for her quirky characters and eccentric sense of personal style. Born in 1980 in Tokyo, Japan, Armstrong then moved to Hawaii, and later to Arizona where she grew up. Armstrong attended college at the University of Arizona, but dropped out when the drama department would not allow her, as a freshman, to participate in productions. Then it was on to Los Angeles to pursue her career, where immense success followed.

Known as both Emily on Entourage and Anna on The OC, Armstrong has definitely made her mark in Hollywood. Her recent projects include Stay Alive, and Just My Luck, with fellow fashonista Lindsay Lohan. She also appeared in the video for Daniel Powter’s hit song, “Bad Day”. Armstrong is fast becoming known for her style, mixing bright colors and funky patterns that are unexpected combinations. One thing is for sure, Samaire Armstrong is a name we will all be hearing a lot more of in the future.

1. What's next for Samaire?

Seen here at the Bridge Club in Los Angeles on August 26, Samaire Armstrong looked fresh and ready for summer with a new hairdo and a classic empire waisted dress. Keeping a low media profile since her "not quite a hit" film Just My Luck with Lindsay Lohan, she has kept her fans wondering what's next for her. Will she return to teen show "The OC", or maybe to the HBO hit "Entourage"? Only time will tell, but if Samaire keeps showing up to events looking this stylish, I'm sure she will have no problem finding work!

2. SUNNY SAMAIRE

There's something about Samaire Armstrong, like drinking a pink lemonade on a hot summer day on the beach! She's just adorable, and a large part of her adorableness comes from her radiantly positive personality.

Most people recognize Samaire from shows like "The OC" and "Entourage", yet what many fans don't know is that Samaire filmed a pilot for a series called "111 Grammercy Park" two years ago. The show never got picked up, so the chances of us catchin' Samaire playing a nanny are slim to none. Samaire's optimism comes thru when, referring to the show, she said "[111 Grammercy Park] never got picked up. I just have a good attitude and want to do a good job. I'm optimistic. If something doesn't work, the next thing will." That it did!

3. Rockin' the weave

While Samaire Armstrong made a reappearance on television titan The OC the past few weeks, so has her hair. In this photo from a Stuff Magazine shoot, Samaire's cute style really comes thru, as she works the 80's aerobic, "Call On Me" video look. Yet what many fans have noticed as of late are her less-than-natural looking hair extensions. Come on, work it out girl!
