SALT AND RETIREMENT?

Angelina Jolie makes a gorgeous splash at a photo call held in Cancun, Mexico for her latest action thriller Salt on June 30. The film won't be released in theatres for another 3 weeks, but already Ang is making a dazzling comeback to promote her spy flick. At this event Angie sparkled in a white strapless Versace dress (love the exquisite detail of Sue Wong's Floral Overlay Dress in Ivory or the simple elegance of James Perse's Tube Dress in White) with Ferragamo peep-toe pumps (very similar to Coye Nokes' sophisticated Jacqueline D'Orsay in Gold Satin). Angelina kept her accessories light, wearing a simple bracelet (love Jules Smith's Super Stud Bangle in Rose Gold) and her hair straight with natural make up. To me this is the perfect way to balance the sweltering humidity while maintaining a gorgeous silhouette, wouldn't you agree? While Ang very rarely opens up, she's on the cover of Vanity Fair this month, featuring a surprisingly in depth interview dishing on everything from her kids to her relationship with Brad. Apart from the usual denial of another pregnancy, Ang revealed something slightly startling: her plans to retire as an actress in the near future. She explains, “It’s not the most important thing in my life. Acting helped me as I was growing up. It helped me learn about myself, helped me travel, helped me understand life, express myself, all those wonderful things. So I’m very, very grateful, it’s a fun job. It’s a luxury. Look, I’m at work today in the middle of Venice. But I don’t think I’ll do it much longer.” She went on to explain she wants to spend more time with her kids as they get older, but didn't go in depth on whether or not she'll take on a different day job. Ang isn't the first celeb to announce an early retirement in recent months, but do you think she'll really step down? Six mouths are a lot to feed!
