Mary-Kate Olsen was caught by the paparazzi as she made her way through the West Village neighborhood of New York on May 28, and the tiny twin was wearing one of her trademark outfits. For her outfit, MK started with a studded jacket (check out Carter's edgy Rock or Die Blazer in Black) over a black maxi dress (like Tt Collection's Christophe Double Layer Gown in Black), along with a pair of black ankle boots and a pair of oversized sunglasses. It's pretty surprising that she's wearing a pair of booties other than her favorite Givenchy chain booties, which she's been spotted wearing on numerous occasions lately. Mary-Kate finished off her ensemble with an oversized black and gold watch (get the look with TKO Orlogi's Cerami Crystal-Steel in Black/Rose) and a few big silver rings (try Lois Hill's Rectangular Ring in Silver). Lay it on me readers - are you diggin' this outfit on MK? I know that the reader opinions tend to be pretty torn between and love and hate when it comes to the Olsens. For those of you who heard the news that Mary-Kate was on a plane that was en route to NYC and had to make an emergency landing in Virginia last week - it turns out that it wasn't MK, but it was Ashley! Originally, sources claimed: "The former child star was flying from New York to Los Angeles with her boyfriend when a blaze broke out at the front of the aircraft, cracking the windshield. The pilot was forced to make an unscheduled landing in Virginia, where emergency vehicles greeted the plane on the runway at Dulles airport and passengers were ferried to safety." While MK was safe and sound throughout the whole experience, Ashley's rep confirmed that both she and her boyfriend Justin Bartha are fine. Thank goodness! I think it's still so funny that people can't tell the twins apart, though.
