RUNNING IN HEELS (AND BAMBOO UNDIES!)

Canuck sweetheart Rachel McAdams has been hard at work on the set of her new film Morning Glory in NYC over the past few weeks, and on July 12 she looked adorable filming scenes in the city. Toting an envious caramel Givenchy Medium Eclipse Hobo (opt for Julie K's Tia Hobo Shoulder Bag in Mocha), Rachel looked too cute in her pink heels, frothy nude dress (check out LaROK's Cup de Jour Dress in Nude or Sue Wong's Beaded Bodice Empire Dress in Beige) and white cropped shrug (like Elizabeth Gillett's Kylie Knit Cardigan with Ribbed Border in Ivory). The navy scarf hanging from her bag adds a nice sophisticated touch as well! Whoever is styling Morning Glory has an eye for detail, even if it looks like Rach is heading to a wedding. The new comedy tells the story of Becky Fuller, a TV producer trying to save her failing morning show from being canceled. Apparently this involves a lot of running in heels? As I've mentioned before, Rachel has been doing her part to be eco-chic for some time now, spotted biking frequently in Toronto and LA (she doesn't own a car in either city) and runs a blog GreenIsSexy.org with her BFF's. Rachel's latest eco-endeavor: urging women to switch from cotton to bamboo and soy underwear! She recently told Contactmusic: “A sexy green thing to do is to wear bamboo underwear! They sound quite painful but they’re actually quite soft. I’ve also got soy underwear!... Our philosophy on the website is not to have green guilt necessarily; just do what you feel comfortable with and you’d be surprised how you feel the positive affects.” She's 100% right on that one – bamboo and soy are actually much softer than cotton!
