ROMO ROOTS FOR JESS

Continuing to further her business career while on tour spreading the twangs of her new country album, Jessica Simpson returned to her home state of Texas last weekend for Dallas’ State Fair and the launch of her new fragrance, Fancy, at Dillard’s on Oct 18. While her new fragrance might have the same name, there is nothing fancy about roots as brown as her dress – Ken Paves must be shrieking in horror after seeing these press shots! Besides the hairy situation, Jessica looked very polished for the launch, wearing a crinkly brown cleavage enhancing dress (check out the similar sheen of Ingwa Melero’s Elena Mini with Charm Waist in Mocha) with envious red croc pumps and coordinating red beaded hoop earrings (try Kuo Ting’s Smoky Quartz Hoop Earrings in Vermeil). Coordinating her jewelry tastefully, Jess wore an elegant gold branch necklace (see Rachel Leigh’s Multi Leaf Pendant Necklace in Gold) with a set of gold bangles (like Rachel Leigh’s adorable Audrey Bow Bangle Set in Gold) and a simple gold band ring (check out Lana Jewelry’s elegant Twilight Ring in Gold) – although not on her ring finger! Because her QB beau Tony Romo is currently out of play with a broken pinkie, he made time to surprise his lady by attending her show at the State Fair of Texas the night before, escorted to a special sound booth reserved for him where he had a great view of his babe. Much to the surprise of fans, throughout the show Romo was caught singing along to the new country tunes and “clapping in awe” when his blossoming country gal hit her high notes. I rolled my eyes when I saw rumors resurface that Jess and Romo are now officially engaged, but after this flagrant display of adoration, I’m convinced it could be true! Do any of you agree?
