Showing off a fun and flirty new look, Kristen Stewart graces the red carpet at the ELLE Style Awards in London on February 22. While she's definitely not a member of the "young and fabulously stylish" clique yet, from this sassy little Emilio Pucci mini you can see her taste is improving! Kristen let the black and white geometric printed bodice stand for itself with sequin trim and a charcoal tulip skirt (for similar black and white strapless options, try Eva Franco's Letticia Dress in Babylon Floral, the Veronica Dress in Venice Floral from the same designer or Jenny Han's Tube Mini Dress in City Scape), pairing the frock with strappy Bally heels (love the similar style with added metal and croc textures of Samanta's Zon Heel in Black). It's cute, it's age appropriate, and she didn't overkill it with accessories or crazy hair and make-up - I give her thumbs up all around. What do you readers think of K Stew's style? I only wish she'd give us a smile once in awhile! Kristen is known for being super awkward, borderline painfully shy during interviews, but she opened up to MTV on the red carpet after she was asked about co-star and long time rumored flame Robert Pattinson's new role in Remember Me. She gushed: "I’ve seen the movie, I’m going to just say — I’m sure people will be like, ‘Oh my God [I'm so jealous!]. He’s really good in the movie. It’s hard to talk about your friends — about anybody that’s close to you that you know. It’s like, he’s everything I know he is. I know he can do any film." Sounds like KS might just be Rob's biggest admirer! Maybe they are dating after all?

I think she might be uncomfortable in dresses, she seems like a shy, tomboy type and out of her comfort zone, but she should work on that part of her image because not everyone is lucky enough to get that big break, she will mature and be more of the actress in a few years...guest on Feb 26 2010 @ 12:38 PM

okay, so if being an actress means she knows how to break out of her skin, then why can't she just play a different version of herself in public. it's not uncommon. we don't know who these people really are behind closed doors. i feel bad for her, she's got so many great things coming her way, and i think she deserves it, but her image and seeming lack of effort do not seem promising for the future of her career.guest on Mar 05 2010 @ 01:14 AM
