RIRI'S MOHAWK, CHRIS' APOLOGY

Rihanna was spotted turning heads and getting everyone's attention as she dined on a late lunch at one of her favorite NYC eateries, Da Silvano, on July 16, she the always edgy singer sported a brand-new hairstyle, a mohawk! It's clear that RiRi enjoys pushing the envelope with her wardrobe choices, and last Thursday was no exception, as she paired a sheer black top (like Splendid's super sheer Feather V-Neck Top in Black) over a striped bikini top (just for fun, check out V i X Swimwear's Vogue Reversible Bikini with Full Bottom in Black). For the rest of her look, Rihanna slipped her gams into a pair of zippered ankle skinny jeans (just like Joe's Jeans' Ankle Chelsea Jean in Maya), and paired with black booties, oversized black aviators, and some majorly funky long drop earrings (just like Castaway Jewelry's Multi Chain Link Earrings in Gold or Kimberly Faith's Long Ribbon Earrings in Gold and Silver). She also had her black claws out in full force... I swear, I always say this but it's so true: I would never want to run into RiRi in a dark alley - her nails look lethal! Second topic of conversation from this outfit... are you feeling Ri's newly shorn mohawk with shaved sides? Not sure how much I'm diggin' it, to be honest. While I'm sure most of you have heard by now, Chris Brown has finally released a public statement apologizing for assaulting Rihanna, and I'm sure many of you have thoughts on this video. In the vid, Brown says, "I've told Rihanna countless times and I'm telling you today, I'm truly, truly sorry that I wasn't able to handle the situation both differently and better." Chris goes on to express his "deepest regret" over what transpired and say that he "accepts full responsibility." He concludes his message with a statement to his fans (if he has any left), "I only can pray that you forgive me, please." What are your thoughts, are you buying it?
