Rarely having been seen in public since her highly publicized alleged assault by boyfriend Chris Brown, Rihanna was spotted making her way around NYC this afternoon, March 13, keeping her sunglasses on as she took in the city. Wearing a pair of cutout black patent leather boots and matching leather gloves, RiRi actually flashed a bit of a smile for the photographers. She paired a grey herringbone jacket (try one of Prairie New York's coats, like the Wool Jacket in Smoke Herringbone or the Wool Bowling Jacket in Charcoal) with a pair of black legging pants (similar to Tag Jeans' Stretch Skinny Pant in Black) and a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarers. It's good to see her out and about! While I won't go in to every detail of RiRi's recent happenings (I'm sure you have been following what's been going on in her life), however, in a recent survey, many Boston teens say that Rihanna herself is to blame for her assault. Wait, what? "Of those questioned, ages 12 to 19, 71 percent said that arguing was a normal part of a relationship; 44 percent said fighting was a routine occurrence." These are pretty startling results... what do you think? Is Rihanna responsible in any way, shape, or form for the assault that she endured?

I heard that she punched him first so, yes, that does make her partially responsible. Someone hitting you definitely does not give you the right to beat them into a bloody pulp so Cris Brown still abused herguest on Mar 13 2009 @ 07:47 PM
those Maison Marting Margiela boots are to die for! ah!guest on Mar 13 2009 @ 07:50 PM
Just because she punched him first, NEVER makes it OK to hit a woman. NEVER.guest on Mar 14 2009 @ 08:35 AM
8:35 - completely agree. but he didn't just hit her, it seemed like he beat her!guest on Mar 14 2009 @ 12:01 PM
Chris is a loser for hitting a woman, period, and she is a loser for ever speaking to him again....guest on Mar 15 2009 @ 05:53 AM
she suckss who caresguest on Mar 15 2009 @ 05:59 PM
12:01, I agree. I think they had to release those pictures, so people could understand what she was going through. People are so fickle they don't believe something unless they see it with their own two eyes.guest on Mar 15 2009 @ 06:07 PM
Is nobody disturbed by her lace longjohn leggings?
Also, why is it ok to hit men, but not women? That's positive discrimination, which supports negative gender roles that assume men and women are not equal. People should not hit each people. Violence is never ok, period.guest on Mar 16 2009 @ 05:40 AM
You people are fucking retarded...he beat her...whatever little punch he felt was no comparison to how she looked, I didnt' see any scratches or marks on him...he's a punk...bet he wouldn't hit a man like that!!guest on Mar 16 2009 @ 05:57 AM
Actually it looks like Rihanna is a strong woman. Stand her and Chris Brown side by side and there isn't a huge size difference. Women can be stronger than men. It is NEVER ok to hit someone who can't defend themselves or who doesn't stand a chance against you. People didn't read my post. Her hitting him first DOES make her partially responsible. That does NOT mean that I condone what happened or side with Chris Brown. I still side with Rihannaguest on Mar 16 2009 @ 09:08 AM
Do you think it is okay for a woman to hit a man? No violence is acceptable, unless you make a career out of it or 2 consenting adults want to duel each other.guest on Mar 16 2009 @ 09:10 AM
who cares that guy sucks but shes nothing special theres no need to praise her for anythingguest on Mar 16 2009 @ 07:24 PM
Yeah don't praise her for anything. She is back with him. What a great role model.guest on Mar 17 2009 @ 07:55 AM

EVERYONE HAS TROUBLES IN THERE RELATIONSHIPS. ITS JUST A SHAME THAT HERS HAD TO BE OUT IN THE OPEN. THERE R ALOT OF WOMEN WHO HAVE GONE THROUGH THE SAME THING AND TOOK THEIR GUY BACK, BUT NO ONE IS JUDGING THEM!!!guest on Mar 22 2009 @ 11:45 AM
