REUNITING IS NOT DESTINY

Quite the sports enthusiast, Beyonce Knowles headed to Paris for a French Open tennis match on June 6. Bey attended the match with her husband Jay-Z cheering at her side, enjoying the fresh air in a non-traditional, ultra femme look. Beyonce started with a curve hugging olive green mini embellished with a reptile-like smocking detail on the sides (go green this summer in Ella Moss' Sedona Tunic in Army or KEEMiA's Elise Belted Dress in Green). From there Bey layered up with an eclectic mix of chunky turquoise and gem necklaces (try combining Robyn Rhodes' Sophia in White Opal with Amy DiGregorio's Nantucket Sound in Powder Blue) and kept her eye on the match with dark sunnies shielding her gaze. What do you think of Bey's svelte look, would you wear this to a sports event near you? The first thing I noticed about this is that the rumors that Beyonce's ever evolving hair styles (and colors) are due to specially crafted hair pieces are false on this occasion – girl's got some roots! Unfortunately another rumor involving Bey has also been proven wrong this week, but this one goes back to her Destiny's Child roots. The tabloids were buzzing with a story that the famous girl group might be venturing off on a reunion tour sometime soon, but Bey's publicist papa Matthew Knowles squashed this in a statement: “Contrary to rumors online of a Destiny’s Child reunion, there are no plans for the group to reunite for a performance or album. The rumors are false. Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams have each moved on to successful solo careers. The members remain close, but will not reunite as a group.” Bummer! Would you want to see the Destiny's Child girls take the stage once again?
