After last night's long anticipated premiere of teen soap The OC, fans of the show finally have answers regarding what has become of their favorite Orange County natives following the untimely kicking-the-bucket of Mischa Barton's character, Marissa. Now that Summer has gone off to college at Brown, leave it to Rachel Bilson to be the cutest darn hippie ever! Series creator Josh Schwartz says that "Summer is grieving in a strange way, and has completely reinvented herself as a hippie". In the premiere, Summer is knee-deep in random environmental causes, including one against the caging of chickens, that could not be farther from the ditzy girly girl who was obsessed with celebrity gossip that Summer used to be. I wonder if this "new Summer" will stick, or the good old Sum will come bursting through. Only time can tell, and in the OC, one this is for sure.. change is a given!
Rach is seen here in West Hollywood doing a little shopping, looking adorable as always in black leggings, a long black tank and a warm camel cardigan. So cute!
