Wearing a lightweight cotton dress (like Zoa's Double V-Neck Pleasing Dress in Black) with a patterned bag, a navy hat and silver sandals, Reese seems like the only normal celebrity in all of "Hollyweird". I mean, compare her to Britney and you can see what I mean! Like I mentioned earlier, there are still rumors (fueled by a few low-quality photos of them together laughing in Reese's car) that Reese and Jake have rekindled their spark, but as quick as those rumors started circulating, there are new rumors that Reese and ex-hubby Ryan Phillippe are growing close once again. They have allegedly been spotted going to lunch, going for runs and going shopping together over the past week. A "source" says that "they met for lunch this week at the Votre Sante health-food restaurant, a regular Brentwood haunt for Reese on San Vicente. And they're going on runs together around the Brentwood Country Club. Both are regular, dedicated runners. Running is a very healing, meditative thing, so maybe it will work its magic on them." While on a relaxing vacation in Hawaii, Reese Witherspoon was spotted on July 8 coming dangerously close to having a Britney Spears-esque self exposure moment. Thank goodness she didn't go full monty in front of the ever-present photogs, although we all know there was no real danger of Reese revealing more than she intended, she's obviously wearing a bikini bottoms! Wearing a coral colored bikini (Letarte Swimwear's Shell Dangle Bikini is similar) under a casual black cover-up dress (like Parameter's Dot Sheer Tunic Dress or Woo's Collette Dress), Reese lugged along a backpack probably full of snacks and toys for little Deacon. While she's undoubtedly enjoying her "me" time, Reese did have a little rendezvous in Los Angeles with Vince Vaughn before she left for the island. It seems that since Jennifer Aniston provided a shoulder to cry on for Reese as she was dealing with her divorce, Reese wanted to help Jen out in the romance department as well. The two met up at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills recently, and although US Weekly is reporting that the meeting was strictly business, I'm thinking it was regarding the business of love! Nothing like one girlfriend helping out another.

Thankfully, Reese Witherspoon is the former- we’ll never catch her vacuously staring into a mirror à la Paris. Seen on June 29 at the W Hotel, Reese looked perfectly outfitted for a summer afternoon. Wearing an off-white dress along with a high-waisted brown belt (Harkham’s Liquid Dress is similar and comes with an eye-catching belt already attached) with her Oliver Peoples shades, a gold bracelet and a light, gauzy layer (like Elizabeth Gillett’s Adeline Wrap), Reese’s style is once again classic and sleek. It seems like other’s admire Reese’s style as well, as handbag designer Mary Norton claims that when designing one of her new bags, she instantly thought of Reese. Mary says that the bag “has a clean, classic look. It made me think of Reese, who is a down-to-earth mom and an elegant woman.” Agreed! But, however, back to what I was saying about either being too modest or too self-centered, Reese is definitely guilty of not giving herself enough credit where credit is due! She has spoken out recently about her post-pregnancy figure, saying that her body has definitely changed after giving birth to two kids. Reese says that her “breasts are not what they were before I breast-fed. I have cellulite. I have stretch marks. I know if I'm going to make it in this business, I'm not going to make it on being sexy.” Please, Reese. Have you seen yourself on the red carpet lately?

Reese Witherspoon made a pit stop with her tiny tot at Fred Segal on June 25, looking casual and summery in a relaxed brown dress (Karen Zambos’ Low Scoop Dress in Heather Brown and Harkham’s Balloons Tie Waist Dress in Coke give off that similar carefree look) over a basic white tank, with matching flip flops. Little Ava must have been spending the day with papa Ryan while Reese was bonding with Deacon, but all four merged unexpectedly (albeit for only an hour) on June 27, as the entire family attended a talent show at Deacon’s school. While the chemistry between Reese and Ryan used to be super hot, now it seems like each doesn’t know, or care, that the other even exists! No matter how they act towards each other, it’s nice to see them being mature and coming together for family events, so at least their children can lead a life of some normalcy.

They both looked adorable, and can I just say WOW to how big Ava has gotten! Time sure does fly by. Reese wore a casual ensemble perfect for spring, in a pair of long white shorts (like Signorelli’s Shorts in White Pinstripe), paired with a white tank, a navy cardigan (Gold Hawk’s Wrap Cardigan is similar), gold bracelets and an over-the-shoulder bag. Little Ava looks like she was trying to match Mom’s sense of style, wearing her own version of Reese’s long shorts. I wonder if Reese and Ava’s ice cream indulgence had anything to do with the whisperings that Reese and her never-made-public boo Jake Gyllenhaal have finally decided to call it quits? Sources told People Magazine that “They just recently broke up. It’s totally and completely over. Reese was the one who had to do it. She just got out of a divorce and was so concerned with her family, she just didn’t have the time for him and he really demanded that.” Totally understandable, as any new relationship definitely takes a lot of time and energy. Still, neither Reese nor Jake’s reps have commented on this alleged “breakup”, maybe because they were never really dating in the first place and it was all media speculation? We may never know.

As Reese Witherspoon walked around Beverly Hills on May 15 with her hands in her pockets and a little grin on her face, it looked like she was just bummin' around town, not gonna lie! Wearing a v-neck sweater with the sleeves rolled up (like ParkVogel's V-Neck Top) over a black tee and with straight leg jeans (James Jeans' 5 Pocket Straight Leg in T3 is similar) and black shades, Reese looked like she didn't have a care in the world, when she definitely did! Reese is getting ready to face off against ex-hubby Ryan Phillippe in a custody battle in which she is asking for primary custody of her two little ones, Deacon and Ava. It seems that in response, Ryan has filed a request for joint custody, hoping that visitation rights are "equally allocated". In addition, it seems that Ryan is not seeking any spousal support from Reese, even though she makes substantially more than him per picture and they did not file a pre-nup when they got hitched. Seems to me like all Ryan wants are the kids, come on Reese, you've got to at least give him joint custody!

Reese Witherspoon was spotted shopping at the Ruby Slipper, a children's shoe store, in Brentwood, with her tiny tots Deacon and Ava, and has apparently reached her wits end when it comes to dealing with the paparazzi. Looking cute in a grey cardigan, a white cami, skinny jeans and gold flats, it seems that Reese was in no mood to have her picture taken. With little Ava shielding her eyes from the razzi's flashes, Deacon looks understandably frightened, which is obviously why Reese is tearing the photogs a new one. As someone who goes to great lengths to shield her children from the spotlight and maintain a certain sense of privacy, I can totally understand why Reese's rope finally snapped. With all the rumors swirling about her and Jake Gyllenhaal, she's been in the tabloids more than usual following her split, so the paparazzi's attention has been super focused on Reese lately. It turns out that they started making "Leave Reese Alone" shirts now (check them out here), like the "Free Paris" shirts that have been pushed into production!

As Reese Witherspoon stepped out in LA on May 6, she turned some heads due to her classic and simple look (as always), but also due to whether or not she's on or off with rumored boo Jake Gyllenhaal. While a lot of the tabloids are reporting that Reese gave Jakey the old heave-ho, photo agencies TMZ and BuzzFoto are claiming that they've spotted the two together as recently as yesterday! BuzzFoto is claiming that they "spotted Jake dashing out of an office building and seconds later Reese dashed out. They took off in separate cars, but no shot of them together." Hmm, isn't that just a little convenient? Then, TMZ is saying that they spotted the twosome cruisin' down the 101 freeway together, "laughing it up and look[ing] very much together." And still, no photos together. Couldn't they have been snapping away like the crazy paparazzi fiends that they are as the lovebirds were driving down the freeway? Something's a little fishy in Hollywood to me. As Reese Witherspoon shopped with a friend in LA on April 22, she definitely did not seem angry or hurt in any way, contrary to rumors swirling on the web regarding her rumored-beau Jake Gyllenhaal's smooch with Jennifer Aniston at the GLAAD Awards. Dressed in her typical cute-Reese way, wearing straight leg J Brand jeans with a black cami, teal cardigan and charm necklace, Reese was like the portrait of sunshine. However, sources are saying that Reese is on the verge of depression! When Reese saw Jake and Jen's little smooch (which wasn't even on the lips!) she apparently told a friend "Why would he do that? Why would she do that?" Stunned, Reese continued to tell her friend that she's "very unhappy about it because she really thinks Jake is everything that Ryan wasn't. That's why she's so stunned by the photographs of Jake and Jen. She's really hurt by what she's seen. They seem to be very explicit and everyone knows Jennifer's looking for love." Oh come on! Has Reese never heard of a friendly peck when someone receives an award? If Jake and Jen did like a full on Halle Berry-Adrien Brody style kiss, I could see why she might be concerned. But this was a totally tame kiss. All I know is that Reese seems totally happy while shopping the other day, so this story is probably nothing but a rumor.

So it's totally only a matter of time before Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gylenhaal come out as a full-fledged couple, so until then, we have to use all the juicy little tidbits that they provide us to piece together what they're relationship is like. As Reese left the Neil George Salon in Beverly Hills on April 18, she looked radiant, with her blonde locks brightened up for spring. Wearing an airy black top (Bellekat's Short Sleeve Linnie Top has a similar look, but is in white, which is a better choice for Spring- don't tell Reese!) with slim jeans, black shades and Grecian-inspired sandals, Reese was stunning as always. Simple and chic. In addition to having their reported Blockbuster-and-takeout nights, Reese was spotted leaving Alpha (an LA store to find "Gear for Gents") picking up Lily Allen's CD as well as a Balthazar cookbook. Maybe she'll be cooking for Jakey-poo?

The always adorable Reese Witherspoon spent Easter Sunday with her equally adorable children, Ava and Deacon, at church in Brentwood on April 8. Wearing a cute white dress (like this Walter dress) with a baby blue cardigan, gold bangles and Oliver Peoples' sunglasses, little Ava looked (as always) like a little Reese mini-me! In a matching, dress, sweater and flats, Ava is sure growing up right before our very eyes. After helping Deacon search for Easter eggs, Reese and the rest of her blonde pack headed home for the day. While Reese was spending quality time with the kids, I have to wonder.. what was Ryan doing? Meanwhile, Reese sure has been keeping pretty mum about those rumors that she is dating Jake Gyllenhaal, but I'm sure they can only keep this potential romance a secret for so long. The paparazzi will soon start to get restless, and will, I'm sure, get a shot of these two by any means necessary!

Sources say that Reese is venturing off to the exotic isles of Hawaii with girlfriends (no men allowed!) to celebrate turning the big 3-1. I'm sure that Reese's trip will consist of nothing but mai-tai's, tanning, and (hopefully, for Reese) no paparazzi! But if the relentless paps to decide to make a surprise Hawaiian cameo, maybe they'll catch her in the arms of rumored beau Jake Gyllenhaal! You never know, what happens in Hawaii stays in Hawaii.

Reese Witherspoon spent the day on March 8 shopping the day away in Beverly Hills, looking chic in all black and gold ( 14-inch black J Brands, a black and gold belt, a sheer black dotted top with ties, and black shades and huge bag). One thing was definitely for sure, she was not texting ex-hubby Ryan Phillippe! OK! Magazine is reporting this week that although Ryan is begging for a second chance (is he?), Reese is over it and is moving on. She's definitely letting her star quality shine through, by being Bazaar's cover girl this month. The cover is cute but, I don't know, I just feel like something's off. Not sure what it is! Inside, Reese tells of how she "recently put a big pile of clothes on the floor of my closet, and I looked at a lot of the stuff and thought, 'That's not me at all. What was I thinking?' (For Legally Blonde) I went through a pink phase like you wouldn't believe. Then there was a Marni phase when I was doing Sweet Home Alabama that was out of control." Not sure how Reese feels, but I'm sure many women would die for Reese's closet.

Ever since her jaw-droppingly beautiful appearance at the Academy Awards, Reese Witherspoon has been flauntin' it, as seen here shopping in Santa Monica on February 26th. Reese made a few purchases, wearing a pair of slender black jeans with a black cardigan, white blouse, and long gold necklace. One thing is for sure, while Reese was on her little shopping spree, cute kids, Deacon and Ava, were not at home with a nanny! Reese has made it clear in interviews that she and Ryan never hired a full-time nanny, because "we weren't the kind of children that were shadowed. We didn't have nannies. We didn't have housekeepers. This whole Los Angeles culture is so foreign to me." Spoken like a true Southern belle!

Ironically, Reese is currently one of the top choices for the lead in the adaptation of the highly popular book "The Manny". If she nabs the role, Reese will play the role of a super successful business woman who falls for and then seduces her children's male nanny! The author of the book, Holly Pearson, explains how she would "love to see Reese in the part. The lead character Jamie Whitefield is very successful but she's very likeable too, and someone you can relate to. Reese has those qualities." She sure does!

Really though, I just wanted an excuse to post this blog about how absolutely GORGEOUS she looked at the 79th Annual Academy Awards last night. It is definitely true, hotness is the best revenge, and Reese is cashing in on this idea full force! Her shiny platinum tresses complete with to-die-for bangs, sunkissed glow and knockout gown let Reese easily take numerous accolades for being the best dressed of the night. Ryan showed up at the after-parties looking like hot mess , wait, what am I saying… he just looked like a mess! Tuck your shirt in Ryan, and tie your tie, you look disheveled. He's probably crying on the inside now that he's realized what a mistake he made letting her go. Go on Reese, do your thing. Show that idiot ex what he's missing!

It seems that Reese Witherspoon spent Valentine's Day getting ice cream with her sweetie, son Deacon, instead of going out and trying to find the new Mr. Right. Reese seems kind of glum in these new pictures, as I'm sure the first Valentine's Day after a divorce can be pretty rough. And it's not making it any easier that her ex, Ryan Phillippe, is out there hittin' up the clubs with his alleged new fling, 18 year-old Nikki Reed. 18 years old?! Wow, Ryan sure doesn't waste any time. After allegedly cheating on Reese with his co-star, you'd think that he might want to wait a while before appearing in public with a new girl! All of this must not be easy on Reese, but I've got to give it to her that she is being strong and is just focusing on her children and career right now. She is so adorable, wearing her J Brands.. can we make Team Reese shirts already?

In a land like Hollywood where traits such as pettiness and immaturity are as common as driving a Mercedes, it is a refreshing change of pace to see recently divorced Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe actually being mature adults in dealing with the situation at hand. That situation is adorable daughter Ava's ballet recital, and the two arrived in one car, with son Deacon in tow. Although I'm sure neither is the other's favorite person in the world right now, it is wonderful that they are acting like responsible parents and showing up to support Ava together. See people, this is how it's done!

To the recital, Reese wore a basic pair of black J Brands with a black cardigan and a sheer black blouse underneath. Classic simplicity, that's why I absolutely adore Reese.

I am sad to say that one of Hollywood's most beloved couples, Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, announced yesterday that they are separating. This really did come as a shock to me, along with many others, because Reese and Ryan genuinely seemed happy. Content with staying out of the public eye and spending quality time with their children, rumors have always circulated about how Ryan envied Reese's uber-successful career and Oscar win, but that wouldn't be enough for them to split, right? Rumors have broken today that Ryan had an affair with Australian actress Abbie Cornish, who is Ryan's costar in his new film Stop Loss. Reese allegedly discovered incriminating text messages on Ryan's Blackberry and that is the reason behind the split. While probably just gossip, let's hope Reese doesn't join Jen Aniston in the role of Molly Moper, president of the First Wives Club. Reese is strong and beautiful, let's all send both Reese and Ryan best wishes.

Reese was spotted shopping alone and sipping on iced tea in Brentwood on October 28, emphasis on the alone. You know, now that Reese is a newly single mama, the fact that she spent the day on her own would grab headlines on it's own, despite the fact that the only time she was seen with Ryan recently was at the premiere of his film Flags of Our Fathers, and didn't seem too happy about it. Either way, I'm sure Reese will be fine, considering she isn't letting her style suffer by rockin' a pair of skinny jeans with a layered black and gray top.
