Reese is the new Avon lady

In a conference held August 1, Reese Witherspoon was named Avon's first Global Ambassador, which means she will be the global face of Avon. Reese (of course) looked fresh and polished. In a classy white dress (LaROK's Joyce Dress in Cream and Laura Dahl's Edie Dress in White are mega-casual alternatives to Reese's LWD- "little white dress") with matching pumps and a single gold bangle. I think Avon made a smart move picking Reese for their new campaign. I feel she is down-to-earth enough that she would actually use Avon products! An Avon representative said that "our partnership with Reese represents a breakthrough moment for our company. This is the first time we have had celebrity representation on all three dimensions of our business, our philanthropic initiatives, our brand, and the Avon Representative, and we are incredibly excited to have someone of Reese’s talent and stature add her voice to Avon’s message to help bring it to the world." Apparently, in addition to being the face of the brand, Reese will raise awareness for pressing issues such as breast cancer, domestic violence and emergency relief. Good old Reese, she's always setting the best example! It also seems things might be getting steamy once again for her and rumored beau Jake Gyllenhaal, as the pair were spotted picking up to-go in Reese's black Mercedes just days ago. Love it!
