When a lot of other leading ladies are opting for incandescent white on the red carpet, Cameron Diaz stole the show with her fiery red gown at the 2010 Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills on January 17. Cam is one of those people in perpetually good spirits, and even the rain didn't bring her mood down – although it could have left her red silk gown in serious distress! She borrowed an umbrella from the Beverly Hilton – thankfully in the same fabulous red shade as the dress! – and struck a pose for the photogs, holding the small train of her Alexander McQueen gown up to avoid getting soaked by the soggy red carpet (get your red fix with Sky's Werner Maxi Dress in Red or The Battalion's Bondage Dress in Red). I love the cowl neckline and tulip sleeves of this gown, but I'm not crazy about the "V" seam at the waist – kind of unflattering, no? Ms. Diaz accessorized with a stunning vintage gold rope bracelet (try an intricate design like Amrita Singh's Ayau Cuff in Gold, and if you're in the mood for tassels try Citrine by the Stones' Wire Shimmer Earrings in Gold) and Ferragamo black peep-toe pumps. I think a softer shade might have complemented the dress better, but I can't help but love Cam's cute crimson look. The matching pout is a great accent too! What do you think of her look? Cameron presented a video clip of It's Complicated, which was nominated for 3 awards, including Best Picture – Comedy/Musical. It sadly didn't pick up any of them, but I think we all knew who the big winner of the night was going to be - Avatar! I still haven't had a chance to see this monumental flick in 3D, but what do you readers think of the amazing graphics? Can't wait to see what all the fuss is about!
