Looking electrifying in a brilliant blue tunic, Rachel McAdams strolled through SoHo in New York City on April 24, chatting away on her phone and completely ignoring the paps. She doesn't always have the best style but I love Rachel's sense of normalcy - you'd never guess she's a celeb from her casual looks like this. Rachel started with a bold blue frock (check out Smitten's A-line Turtleneck Dress in Blueberry for warmer temps or Karina Grimaldi's Zuni Silk Mini Dress in Royal Blue) over black leggings and buckled knee high boots, with a casual coordinating scarf around her shoulders (try a standout printed option like A Graves' Basket Weave with Shield Scarf in Blue) and an ash grey tote over her arm (check out the roomier shape of Antoinette Lee's Besa Bag in Dove Grey). Rachel has had an extended NYC stay over the past few weeks, first promoting her new thriller State of Play, then spotted checking out potential apartments with her beau Josh Lucas and attending the Tribeca Film Festival to support her man in his new movie Tell Tale. All of her hard promo work seems to be paying off - State of Play is holding strong with a steady 84% rating on RottenTomatoes.com, attributed to an outstanding cast and a great script. The movie has grossed over $25 million since it was released 2 weeks ago - have any of you made it to the theaters to see Rach on the silver screen yet?
