Canadian cutie Rachel McAdams debuted an adorable new ‘do at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept 9. Rachel stepped out on the red carpet to see Steven Soderbergh’s latest work, Che (Part 1), the beginning of a four hour guerrilla epic starring Benicio Del Toro as Che Guevara. Rachel’s ‘fit had plenty of 20’s flair as she rocked a black and white lace mini dress (try LaROK’s Shabbona Zip Dress in Jet) with lace-up booties, a chic lariat necklace (like Jessica Elliot’s Ornate Pendant on Link Lariat in Silver), and a square lacquered clutch (like Lesa Wallace’s Metallic Leather Mark Clutch in Bronze). Rachel is one of those amazing actresses who can pull off any shade of tresses, but so far this new flipped ‘do is my favorite, especially the bangs! Thoughts? Besides attending the premiere of Che, Rachel is attending the film festival in her hometown for the premiere of her latest flick, The Lucky Ones, set to premiere Sept 10. Rachel plays an uncouth, unpredictable wounded soldier returning from Iraq, in a performance that has even her co-star Tim Robbins talking. When asked what makes her acting so stellar, Robbins told the press, "Well, I'm not sure exactly about that. But I think she's got a warmth to her so that people are drawn to her. And I think the character itself was richly drawn and had all these weird dichotomies. She is kind of a fundamentalist Christian who also has libertine instincts." Come again? With a statement like that, I’m definitely intrigued to check out Rachel’s performance when the film hits theaters on Sept 26.
