Canadian sweetheart Rachel McAdams was spotted wheeling her luggage in NYC on October 8, braving the chilly day with fingerless gloves (check out Diesel's Mouwu Half Gloves) and an eco-friendly aluminum thermos in place of a Starbucks cup. Rach took her Soho stroll in a burgundy plain button up (soften up with Joe's Jeans' West Plaid Pocket Shirt in Pink/Navy), army green wool coat (Suzabelle's Marin Trench Coat in Grey Tweed has similar styling) and classic blue straight leg jeans (try Serfontaine's Fox Straight Leg in Neptune). To complete the 'fit she added sharp black boots, a simple black tote and colossal black and gold ring (very similar to Allison Daniel's Simple Setting Ring with Jet Sunburst in Gold). Her ears must be ice cold with her hair pulled back like that, but she looks professional and down-to-earth at the same time and I dig it. What do you think of the look? Leave it to Forbes to clue us all in on what entertainers are worth, but their latest list "Best Actresses For The Buck" has some surprising nods. Instead of looking at who gets paid the most, Forbes analyzed how much money actresses make for the studio for each dollar they're paid. So you won't find Angelina Jolie anywhere near this list with her $10 million salary, but old rival Jennifer Aniston came in at a cool #6 despite her recent rom-com flops. Rachel comes in at #3 on the list, behind Naomi Watts and Jennifer Connelly in the top two spots – both surprising choices, IMO. The other leading ladies include Natalie Portman, Meryl Streep, Halle Berry, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway and Hilary Swank. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think almost all of these ladies have had Oscar nods at one point or another? Definitely good company for Rachel to be in, especially as she prepares for the release of Sherlock Holmes this winter. Congrats, Rach!
