Season 2 of The Rachel Zoe Project starts on August 24, 2009 on Bravo. According to People.com's "Style Watch" website, Zoe will launch a clothing line that is described as "vintage-inspired, [and] affordable." While at DecadesTwo, where she donated personal items to benefit Ovarian Cancer National Alliance, Zoe said of her clothing line: “It will be absolutely, 100% accessible fashion for sure — for everybody. There’s no reason for me to do a luxury-level design. That’s not who I am. I don’t think it’s what people want from me. I think that I would need to give people that fantasy becoming a reality. That’s my job." Details have not been released, but the line will include "clothes, jewelry, handbags and a fragrance." In 2007, she released her first style guidebook with Rose Apodaca published by Grand Central Publishing titled Style A to Zoe: The Art of Fashion, Beauty, and Everything Glamour. It was on The New York Times Bestseller list.
Rachel Zoe has been seen wearing
Rachel Zoe seen on Sep 10 2009 in New York, NY. Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe was spotted returning to her hotel in NYC on September 10, as she is in town for all of the Fashion Week festivities. For her off-duty look, Rachel started with a pair of super flared denim (try similar options from Joe's Jeans and the Rocker Lean Flare Jean in McCormick, or from People's Liberation and the Karen Flare in Blonde) that she wore with a strongly textural jacket (try LaROK's Marlena Coat in Black, Suzabelle's Fremont Jacket in Black, or Sue Wong's longer Taffeta Beaded Coat in Black), round sunnies, a black Birkin and a ton of bangles (get the look with Ettika's Triple Stack Multi Color Satin Cord Bracelet). What are your thoughts on RZ's street style - is she rockin' the coat-and-jeans look? If you follow either Rachel or Bethenny Frankel from "The Real Housewives of New York" on Twitter, you know that the girls got in to quite a spat recently. Bethenny started the war, Tweeting "Wondering if I'm the only one who can't get over the self-important nonsense that is Rachel Zoe. Wow. Dying over this show. If I stick on a lampshade with a moo moo and a pair of bananas hoop earrings, RZ may just D I E. What a bunch of BS!" Wow - well needless to say Rach wasn't too keen on Beth's diss. She responded, "Wow. Talk about no class. Been friends 4 yrs... rude. Unclear y Bethenny has declared war ... never been anything but kind 2 her & clearly she enjoys being as vicious as they say." I wonder if the two ever kissed and made up - doesn't seem like it though. So, who's team are you on? Team Zoe all the way!
