The usually sunny Rachel Bilson was seen looking mighty grumpy as she strolled through the Lower East Side in NYC earlier this morning, May 1, stopping by Au Bon Pain for a quick cup of soup. Rach also toted along a bright red umbrella with her for her morning outing, as rain was expected to be on the horizon. For Rachel's simple and casual look, she started with a pair of standard black leggings (like Zoa's Logo Long Leggings in Black) with a pair of black leather boots that almost look like a mixture between cowboy boots and riding boots. Next up, Rachel slipped into a long pocketed tank (Smitten's ) under a black blazer (try William Rast's Outerwear Black Jacket), and toted along the Jimmy Choo "Kiki" bag (check out Linea Pelle's Dylan Large Bowler Bag in Cognac). I know RB's look is super basic - but for running errands around town, do you think it works? While we all know Rachel from her role as Summer on "The O.C.," it is being reported that she is taking on a new role, that of a columnist. Rachel will be writing a column for InStyle Magazine," of which she says, "I can talk about fashion all day long, and I am an avid InStyle reader so the relationship seemed perfect!" In her column, Bilson will share fashion tips and advice, as well as answer questions from readers, and her first is set to debut in the May issue. RB added, "This column is the best homework assignment ever!" How cute is she??
