Turning the tables on the paparazzi, Beyonce Knowles gets behind the lens while on vacay with Jay-Z in Porto Ferraio, Italy on August 20. Bey snapped her own photos while touring the city before grabbing an icy cold brew and hopping aboard a boat for an afternoon sailing adventure with her husband. Even on vacation Beyonce stays true to her extravagant style, wearing a bold animal print kaftan (love Walter's Silk Georgette Dress in Abstract Animal or Boulee's dramatic Angelina Dress in Bamboo) over a black bikini (try out ViX Swimwear's two-fer Mia Reversible Long Tri with Scoop Bottom in Black, which flips from leopard to solid black) and jeweled gold sandals. Most of us leave the jewelry at home while at the beach, but Bey glammed up her look with a chunky gold and pink stone necklace (try Robyn Rhodes' Sophia in White Opal) with oversized gold hoops (I'm loving Calico Juno's Luxe Bijoux Drops Earring in Gold) and a set of mixed bracelets to complete the look. What are your thoughts on Bey's resort style? I don't think anyone else can pull off all-over animal prints like she does, so kudos to her for going bold on her European getaway. Looks like she might be having a little too much fun, as she's sporting a Band-Aid covering a scrape on her elbow. Ouch! We've rarely seen Bey out and about this summer, and she recently chatted with Self magazine about how she likes to spend her down time in between projects: "I love going to dinners, seeing plays, visiting museums and spending time with family and friends… I know it’s time to jump back into my work when everything I do starts inspiring lyrics and melodies and I can’t keep myself out of the studio." Wonder if we'll be seeing the return of Sasha Fierce after Bey gets a little Italian inspiration?
