Blake Lively joined fellow partygoers Whitney Port and Rihanna (along with her beau Penn Badgley, of course) at a SNL after party held at Abe and Arthur's Restaurant in the Meatpacking District of NYC last night, December 5, looking chic as always. For her ensemble, Blake was the perfect mix of casual yet stylish, starting with a basic pair of black leggings (check out Tt Collection's tuxedo-like Rachel Legging in Black) and pairing them with a rich tank (try Woo's Jean Cami in Emerald Bay) and a cozy grey scarf (similar to Diesel's Dropin Jacquard Scarf). She topped off her look with a black leather jacket (I love Mike & Chris' Wesley Motorcycle Jacket in Black) and a gorgeous pair of mesh Christian Louboutin heels. What do you think of Blake's look - lively or lame? Let me know, readers! While I'm sure most of you know Blake from her character Serena Van Der Woodsen on the hit CW show "Gossip Girl," what you may not know is what B had to do to guarantee that she would get a part in her upcoming film The Private Lives of Pippa Lee. She recently told Fox News: "It was an odd thing to do but really funny. There was a point when I was crawling on all fours and Julianne was like ‘purr for me’ and I thought ‘what am I doing with my life? I’ve finally got the most respectable job of my career yet I’m being leashed up and asked to purr. But Julianne is such a wonderful, kind and happy person so that made it easy to feel safe crawling around leashed up." Ummm... interesting?

she's always beautiful and lovely
but the picture on the left...seems like a different person instead of blake...should be the problem of the angle of taking picture.guest on Dec 07 2009 @ 01:56 AM
Yeah, that scene was described in her Nylon interview - apparently the character's doing gay porn. Blake's supposed to be very good in this film, and it sounds interesting, so I'll definitely check it out.guest on Dec 07 2009 @ 06:22 AM
