Continuing her illicit affair with A-Rod, Kate Hudson was spotted leaving Barney's in Beverly Hills on July 12 with plenty of loot after a special after-hours shopping trip. The hot new pseudo-couple (in denial) shopped for over an hour together, sharing a dressing room and choosing outfits for each other. Awww! Doing the hippie chic thing time and time again, Kate paired Hudson Jean's hip hugging Signature Bootcut in Bronco) with a colorful crocheted halter and 70's wedges (Matiko's Moira Wedge in Black/Brown would be adorable with the above). Adding a python tote (similar to Julie K's Eliza Flat Bag in Ice Exotic, on sale 30% off!), two toned sunnies and an armful of colorful bracelets, Kate looked pretty satisfied with her selections as she made her way back to her Escalade SUV. What do you think of her Bohemian influenced 'fit? This is pretty much an everyday look for her, but I can't help but comment that it looks like she's gained a little weight in her arms and tummy. Maybe it's just the unflattering top? While Kate spent last weekend in Orange County, meeting up with A-Rod after the Yankees were defeated by the Angels on Sat. Nothing like a good shopping trip to lift your spirits! Since Kate and A-Rod began dating (or more appropriately, hooking up) Kate has been caught running – or more accurately, sprinting – from A-Rod's NYC apartment to waiting rides a few times. It's pretty obvious when photogs snap her going in and coming out in the morning, so I just don't get why they continue to deny anything is going on. Aren't we supposed to be teaching kids honesty these days? And speaking of kids, where is Ryder when Kate is busy with her late night sleepovers and after-hours shopping trips?
