Vanessa Hudgens was caught by the paparazzi as she indulged in a bit of retail therapy at Planet Blue in Malibu on April 3, staying true to her beachy, bohemian style. Vanessa chose a lavender maxi dress (check out P.G.D. Style's Goddess Dress in Sapphire for something similar, or if you're looking for a brightly colored maxi dress for the spring, look no further than Single Dress' Maxi Marisol Dress in Coral) that she seemed to have to hold up in order to walk, in addition to a pair of oversized sunnies and brown leather flat sandals (similar to Gwyneth Shoes' Briee Strap Sandal in Orange). VH accessorized with a serpentine pendant necklace and a nice assortment of gold bangles (I love the unique shape of Calico Juno Designs' Bracelet 28 in Gold). Do you like Vanessa's look here, readers? Is this something you would ever choose for a day of shopping by the beach? In related VH news, the release date of her new flick Beastly is getting closer, and Vanessa was recently interviewed about one of the main differences between her film and the original, Beauty and the Beast. She says, "One thing [director] Daniel [Barnz] actually said to me in the beginning is the beast will have no fur. No fur! I think that would just make it a little bit less believable." Ha! I for one am not ashamed to admit that I am a bit excited to check out this flick, primarily because I'm dying to see Mary-Kate Olsen's portrayal as the evil witch!

the lower half print of the maxi dress looks really ethereal and prettyguest on Apr 05 2010 @ 12:11 AM
The dress is pretty, but is a tad too long for her, especially since she's wearing really flat sandals.guest on Apr 05 2010 @ 01:00 AM
