Enjoying a free afternoon in New York City, Taylor Swift hits the shops with some friends on May 15. Enjoying the uncharacteristically warm weather, T looks more like she's headed to the beach than on a shopping spree in her embellished tunic dress (check out Meghan Fabulous' Astrid Tunic in Fuchsia or for a slightly more airy version Vix Swimwear's Ruffle Tunic in White). Pairing the casual frock with t-strap sandals (love Farylrobin's comfy Whitney in Black), Taylor accessorized with a canvas printed tote and a long key necklace (like Lois Hill's girly Flower Key on Chain in Silver), and of course her trademark "13" stamp on her hand. What do you think of T's casual look, would you wear it? I just can't help but love the dress, as it obviously works for a variety of summer occasions from city strolling to playing in the sand. Taylor jumped at the opportunity to take an afternoon to herself over the weekend, hitting a string of shops including the Ralph Lauren Rugby flagship. As usual T has a few awards nominations to celebrate – Video of the Year, Female Video of the Year and Collaborative Video of the Year at the 2010 Country Music Awards next month. Taylor faces some stiff competition against Carrie Underwood in 2 out of 3 categories, but I have a feeling she'll prevail this time! Which country crooner are you rooting for?
