When Britney and Christina modeled for Skechers at the height of it's late-90's popularity, the pop princesses faces helped sell many-a-sneaker. Now, Ashlee Simpson is taking the spokesperson title from them, and is the new face of Skechers. Wait, did I hear what I just said? Who knew Skechers was even still around? From the looks of this picture from the photoshoot on August 22 in Manhattan Beach, Skechers is trying to revamp their demographic from tween girls to, I don't know, rockers that hang out in graffiti strewn alleyways? I don't know, but seems like a long shot to me. To get Ashlee's outfit, however, grab the Morphine Generation tee she wears, the Skull T-Shirt with Gunmetal Foil, and pair with a pair of zippered pants, like our Bambu Tyger Indochine Pants. One thing is certain, the Simpson girls sure know how to attach themselves to products!

Does anyone remember the Skechers in the 90s that were black and white with the bubble heel on them? They were platforms.
