Paper Denim and Cloth was established in Nov '99, and is quickly becoming synonymous with fashion-forward denim styling and impeccable product quality. Paper Denim and Cloth products have been featured in a variety of international magazines including Vogue, Bazaar, Elle, InStyle, Wallpaper, Surface, W, GQ and Details to name a few. Stocked by the world's finest stores such as Fred Segal, Colette, American Rag, Hollywood Ranch Market, Barney's NY, Ron Herman, Scoop, Bergdorf Goodman, Louis Boston, Harvey Nichols, and Saks Fifth Avenue to name a few, its apparent that Paper Denim and Cloth's concept of blending contemporary American styling with premium imported denims and authentic hand finishing is right on target. Paper Denim and Cloth uses premium American, Italian and Japanese ringspun denims, cotton knits, and twills exclusively in our collection. Aside from fit and finish, construction quality and attention to detail are the 2 most important factors in the production of Paper Denim and Cloth jeans, shirts, and t-shirts and skirts. Unlike most manufacturers, Paper Denim and Cloth's production facilities are limited to a small group of manufacturers and laundries. The total number of Paper Denim and Cloth products produced each year is extremely limited, undoubtedly adding to the label's uniqueness and exceptional standards of quality. When designing each seasonal collection, the focus remains on combining updated design elements, exceptional product quality, and a denim purists' appreciation for authenticity and detail. One unique feature found in Paper Denim and Cloth's women's collection is the use of a 2-piece contour waistband that provides a significantly better fit in all our low-5 and super low-5 silhouettes. Paper Denim and Cloth also incorporates flat-pressed and selvedge side seams, signature single needle back pockets and "j-stitch" details on the fly, as well as oversized belt loops and reinforced riveting.
