It seems like lately, Blake Lively is dead set on securing her spot as one of Hollywood's most stylish stars! For her appearance at the premiere of her new film The Town that was held at AME during the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival on September 11, Blake wore a breathtakingly gorgeous red sequined Chanel Fall 2010 Couture dress with floral embellishments along with a pair of matching red Christian Louboutin stilettos. On a beauty note, Blake decided to stick with the red theme and wore a cherry red lipstick, along with tousled locks and a glowing tan. To get a look that's inspired by BL, check out one of CoutureCandy's "lady in red" dresses, like Jay Godfrey's creatively sequined Duke Sequin Dress in Black/Red or Shumaq's Lilis Dress in Red, and although it's not technically red, Jenny Han's Corsage Dress in Burnt Orange still makes the same impact. The finishing touch to Blake's look? Statement earrings and multiple rings (like Femme Metale Jewelry's Snake Shell Ring in Pink) all on the same hand. What are your thoughts on Blake's ensemble, readers - do you think she painted The Town red?

overwhelmingly red...but i do like the stunning dressguest on Sep 14 2010 @ 07:50 PM
her body has the shape of a PEAR, folks!guest on Sep 14 2010 @ 08:58 PM
The embellishment at the hips isn't flattering on the best figures, even if the dress is Chanel Couture. Perhaps it looks better in motion than in the still photo as shown on the left picture. And I think one large ring would work better.guest on Sep 15 2010 @ 05:27 AM
Usually I don't like dresses like this, I mean.. It does sort of look like she's a red tree that's growing some sort of mold around her hip area exclusively.. But I actually can't say I don't like this dress. I think it's charming and bold, she took a risk.guest on Sep 15 2010 @ 07:32 AM
That is like so red! I mean I have nothing against red colors but Blake just didn't look that good in that dress. Sorry

WHY would she accentuate her hips? not a flattering dress but without the floral embellishment it would be HOT! too bad. -OGguest on Sep 16 2010 @ 05:58 AM
