Olivia Wilde seen on Nov 01 2009 in Los Angeles, CA. Looks like Cameron Diaz isn't the only star who loves fitted frocks by RM by Roland Mouret. Olivia Wilde attended the LA premiere of Precious at Grauman's Chinese Theatre on November 1. Both O and Cam are working the sophisticated simplicity of these dresses, and I love that Olivia lightened up in a cream shade with nude accessories. For similar fitted frocks on CoutureCandy, try Suzabelle's Veronica Day Dress in Heather Grey, Sue Wong's All Over Soutache Lace Dress in Beige or Gold Hawk's Floral Eyelet Dress in White. O carried a nude clutch (like Posse New York's Natalie Clutch in Pearl Tan and kept her jewelry minimal with her wedding ring and a skinny gold bracelet (try Danielle Stevens' Monogram Bracelet in Gold. Once again Olivia is showing off her clear complexion with barely there makeup, gorgeous. What do you think of this "precious" 'fit? O has attended a few Hollywood social events this week, hanging out with Hayden Panettiere at the Jimmy Choo for H&M party and chatting with the press about her character on House: “It’s kind of great to be able to … harness my power as a sexual being I guess and to be able to be seen as a sexy person and not have to compromise who I am and what I stand for. And being able to be considered sexy even though I wear a floor length lab coat in every episode, showing very little skin and spewing out medical terms all day.” She has a point - Olivia is one of the few who can make scrubs look sexy!
Olivia Wilde seen on Oct 25 2009 in Los Angeles, CA. Looking radiant on the green carpet, Olivia Wilde attended the 20th Anniversary of the Environmental Media Awards at Paramount Studios in LA on October 25. Although I'm not sure how "green" stretch lace is, Olivia looks stunning in Stella McCartney lace cut-out dress (get the lacy look with Tracy Reese's Lace Shell Top in Black or Single Dress' Lace Bust Pencil Dress in Black), but Stella is known for using eco-chic fabrics so who knows about this one! OW accessorized with a shiny clutch (I'd pair Moyna Handbag's Snap Closure Beaded Clutch in Metal Pewter) and grey and black square toe pumps. I like that Olivia didn't go for a boring black shoe, but the grey throws me off a little (I would have picked Elaine Turner's Valerie Patent Peep Toe in Black). What do you think of the look? I'm happy she wore her hair up to show off the back of the dress, but once again it reveals an exposed zipper, like Olivia's Marchesa gown she wore to the Emmy's in September. I love both dresses, but there were definitely some critics of the ice-skating reminiscent closure. I personally think the zipper's gonna show either way, so you might as well make it exposed – what do you readers think? While O talked about the event about how she's making a difference helping to conserve paper and energy on her Hollywood set, Maxim editor-in-chief Joe Levy weighed in on what makes Olivia the perfect woman for the title of "Hottest Woman Alive": “Olivia Wilde has been the sexiest woman on television since she heated up ‘The OC’ five years ago. She’s smart, she’s beautiful, and she has dual citizenship in the U.S. and Ireland — what more can a man ask for?” Dual citizenship… because that's really what turns a guy on these days!
Olivia Wilde seen on Sep 29 2009 in Los Angeles, CA. Lighting up the red carpet at the premiere of Whip It last week, Olivia Wilde pulls off an adorably relaxed look in Los Angeles on September 29. I love that she went so casual for this event – not that anyone was dressed uber fancy, but both Ellen Page and director Drew Barrymore showed up in stunning LBD's. O chose to mix things up with a fiery red frock (try Graham & Spencer's Cami Dress in Red or Ella Moss's Marlo Halter Dress in Bonfire) topped with a casual denim jacket and super strappy black heels. I love the shoe choice but do you think it works with the denim? Olivia completed the look with a gold bracelet and intricate beaded clutch with a plum satin back (try similar evening bags like Moyna Handbag's Snap Closure Beaded Clutch in Red/Gold, or go for a bold contrast with the Deco Beaded Clutch in Blue). What do you think of her look overall, including the natural hair and makeup? Many of you might be surprised to hear that not only is Olivia married, but she and her husband, director Tao Ruspoli, tied the knot all the way back in 2003. She recently talked about how tough it was for her to juggle married life while playing Marissa's sexy lesbian love interest on The O.C.: “There were times when people thought it would really hurt me. People said I shouldn’t be married, or (I should) lie about being married.” How mean to think people would be turned off by that! Obviously it hasn't hurt her, as that role led to her big break on "House," where by coincidence she also plays a sexy lesbian… doctor. Olivia is also starring in her husband's indie flick, Fix, which will be released next month. The movie is inspired by Olivia's brother-in-law and his dilemma to go to rehab or face years of jail time. O told FOX News: "The theme of the movie is everyone has a fix, whether that's drugs or whether that's an obsession you have with trying to change the world or change other people." Can't wait to see O's indie debut!
Olivia Wilde seen on Sep 24 2009 in Beverly Hills, CA. Bravely attending Variety's 1st Annual Power of Women Luncheon with hardly a dab of make-up, Olivia Wilde arrives at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA on Sept 24. When I first saw these pics, I thought she looked washed out, then I realized I don't know a single person with skin clear enough to go this bare in public. Kudos to her for putting on a brave face! Olivia opted for a printed Kate Moss for Topshop dress with petal cut-outs on the neckline (check out Pink Polka Dot's fun floral Gold Retro Mini Dress in Gold or LaROK's Rain Mini in Purple), keeping her accessories as simple as her hair and make-up with nude pumps and an ivory buckled clutch (try Antoinette Lee's Vita Clutch in Stone). When I first saw the dress I wasn't that crazy about it – polka dots are not my thing – but up close you can see they are small floral dots, and I like the graduated detail at the top. What do you think of O's lunch time attire? At the swanky luncheon celebrating Hollywood's most philanthropical ladies, Olivia spoke to the press (again, showing off that flawless skin!) about who she finds most inspirational: "When [Angelina Jolie] goes on CNN and talks about refugees in Pakistan and the Swat Valley that's the first time millions of people have even heard about the Swat Valley, so she definitely uses her celebrity responsibly. I definitely look up to her." Olivia's already confessed her "girl crush" on Angie to Women's Health magazine, dishing in her recent interview about meeting the iconic beauty at last year's Golden Globes: "I was sitting at her knees and talking about my parents and how dangerous being a journalist in a foreign country can be. Later, I was like, ‘Brad who?’ I didn’t even realize he was leaning over her shoulder the whole time. Everyone around her just disappeared." Sounds like someone has a very serious crush!
Olivia Wilde seen on Sep 20 2009 in Hollywood, CA. Compared to past years, I didn't find myself with much to say about the red carpet gowns at the 2009 Emmy Awards on Sept 20 – until I saw Olivia Wilde in this gorgeous lace Marchesa gown. It seemed that this year lots of unnecessary glitz and embellishments battled pastel hues contrasting rich red, plum and noir shades on the red carpet, but somehow Olivia nailed it with this delicately feminine gown. I adore the illusion panel on the front and the way the lace appliqués fall on the train – even the pale pistachio shade flatters her complexion in an almost flawless way (to try out the lacy style for yourself browse Sue Wong's gorgeous gowns like the Long Lace Beaded Ball Gown in Ivory, Victorian Layered Gown in Ivory, or the Flowered Gown in Tan). It's old Hollywood glamour, yet modern at the same time. With the help of her stylist she gave the gown the perfect finishing touch with a dazzling box clutch (try Moyna Handbag's Antique Hand Beaded Clutch in Silver), diamond teardrop earrings (go playful with Kuo Ting's Frosted Teardrop Earrings in Sterling Silver) and a slender silver bangle (opt for Christie Martin's custom Love Bangle in Sterling Silver). With the exception of the nude zipper going up the center back, Olivia takes the night for me. Amongst the other fashion critics, Red Carpet Fashion Awards gave January Jones the Best Dressed accolades, while People picked Drew Barrymore in Monique Lhullier and a very pregnant Heidi Klum in Marchesa to head their list of over 20 best dressed guests. From the picks above, who makes the top of your list?
Olivia Wilde seen on Sep 03 2009 in Madrid, Spain. Olivia Wilde continues to promote her Escada fragrance in Madrid, Spain, making an appearance on Spanish talk show El Hormiguero on Sept 3. On the show she wore a cute peacock embellished tee (try Signorelli's Feather Head Dress V Neck Tee in White or Lauren Moshi's Giraffe V Tee in White) with faded cuffed jeans (try Joe's Jeans Ex Lover Crop in Phoebe) with a black blazer with skinny sleeves (try Signorelli's Logo Blazer in Black) while goofing around sniffing her perfume on the host's neck and showing off her stethoscope skills. What do you think of O's 'fit? I absolutely love the studded heels, and that she kept her jewelry very simple to let them stand out (try a simple personalized ring like Christie Martin's Sterling Silver Band Ring in Sterling Silver). Besides her new Escada career, Olivia is still starring as Thirteen on House. Her producer David Shore recently told Fox News, “We all really enjoyed the fact she was on the cover Maxim, but we’re used to Olivia’s hotness,” he said, agreeing with co-star Omar Epps about her potty mouth, "But she does curse a lot. She grew up in a barn I think.” Ouch!

Olivia Wilde seen on Sep 02 2009 in Madrid, Spain. Looking seductive as ever in Madrid, Spain, Olivia Wilde poses at the launch of her new "Desire Me" fragrance for Escada at the ME Hotel on September 2. House's hottest doctor, who also topped Maxim's Hot 100 list this year, is helping to heat up sales for Escada's new fragrance, quoted in their press release: "I am honored to have been invited to become an ambassador for Escada and the face of their new fragrance. For me, Escada represents style, refinement and sensuality. I like to think of myself as being an Escada woman, and I think that the majority of women aspire to these admirable qualities that this perfumes so perfectly represents." Olivia was certainly the epitome of style, refinement and sensuality in her pewter silk draped Escada dress with strappy black Jimmy Choo's (opt for similar shiny options like Walter's Plum Satin Crepe Dress in Purple, Ingwa Melero's Prussian Dasha Mini in Blue Satin or the Carmelia Mini in Opal from the same line). Wearing her hair down in glossy, sexy waves, Olivia polished her 'fit with a gold cut-out cuff (very similar to CC Skye's Bardot Cuff in Gold). What do you think of her desirable look – hit or miss? The launch of Olivia's new fragrance is moving forward despite Escada filing for bankruptcy earlier this month. The German owned company employs over 2,200 people and has shops in over 60 countries, so the pressure is on Olivia to help them turn things around. Try a free "Desire Me" sample from the Escada website and check out Olivia's sexy commercial for the fragrance – do you think it's enough to boost sales?
