OFF ON A RETREAT

Kristen Bell looked quite the casual cutie as she was spotted leaving the Los Angeles Airport on Oct 25. I have to wonder where she might have been jetting off to in this quintessentially Californian ensemble – the only locale you will find flip-flops, a sweater and a scarf all part of the same ‘fit. Luckily KB is adorable enough to pull it off, looking comfy cozy in her tan woven sweater (similar to Holly’s Button Knit Coat in Stone), plaid scarf (Elizabeth Gillett’s Brittany Plaid Motif Scarf in Wine is an elegant version), casual burgundy tee and distressed cuffed jeans a la Katie Holmes (try rolling up 7 For All Mankind’s Bootcut Jean in New York Vintage). Throwing in some classic Californian accessories, including white Wayfarers, a quilted tan pocketbook (like Julie K’s Gigi Mini Bag in Pewter) and simple brown flip-flops, Kristen looked a little frazzled as she made her way from the check-in counter to the boarding area with her passport and boarding pass in hand. Though this well deserved retreat probably has nothing to do with her next film project, this week it was announced Kristen will star alongside Kristen Davis, Vince Vaughn and Jason Bateman in what is sure to be a hilarious romantic comedy, Couples Retreat. Like Forgetting Sarah Marshall, the flick stars some troubled couples and is set on a tropical island – we just can’t get enough of KB in a bikini!
